Dance classes will be held on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Final times and groups will be communicated prior to the first days of dance (September 22 &  September 24)

Please etransfer your $100 registration fee to yorktonkalyna@gmail.com if you selected offline payment. Once you are placed in your respective dance group your $100 registration fee will be applied to your regular registration. The $100 registration fee must be received by August 15th. 

If you choose not to participate in dance for the 2026-2027 dance year your $100 registration fee will be fully refunded October 1st. After October 1st no refunds will be made as dances, groups, and costumes are finalized. 

Your registration is not confirmed until this fee is received. After August 15th a non refundable $50 late fee will be applied to your registration. This late fee will NOT be applied to regular registration.

Groups and times will be communicated by September 1 and at that time your final registration fee will be communicated. Full registration must be paid prior to the first dance class to be placed in your respective group.

Kalyna Ukrainian Dance School uses fundraising to help keep fees low and accessible to everyone. For 2026-2027 the fundraising requirement will be:

$200 (one dancer)

$300 (two dancers)

$400 (three or more dancers)

We will be holding 3 fundraisers as well as have opportunities for volunteer credit to be applied to your fundriasing account. If you do not hit your fundraising requirement by April 30th, 2027 you will be issued a payout invoice that will be due May 15th, 2027. 

Kalyna Ukrainian Dance School has a very large costume inventory and offers rentals to all registered dancers.

For 2026-2027 the costume rental fee will be $50/costume to a max of $150/family. Adult Poltava pieces can be rented for $10/item. 

Costume rental fees help cover our closet rent, insurance, alterations & repairs etc. Costume fees are to be paid before any costume leaves the Kalyna Closet. We would like all adults to provide their own blouse as we have a limited number of rental blouses available.

The following costume fees may be applied:

Cleaning Fee - $25 PER ITEM

If a costume is returned and requires additional cleaning you will be charged $25/item (per blouse, per slip, per skirt etc). If you choose not to wash your costumes we will wash them for $25/item. You can also take your costumes to be dry cleaned. Cleaning and care instructions will be made available at costume pick up.

Lost/Damaged Costume Fee - $100 PER ITEM

If you lose or damage/ruin a costume piece you will be charged $100/item. Many of our items are unable to be recreated or replaced and a missing item can affect the number of dancers that can be in a dance in the future. Please take care of our costumes so we can continue dancing for many more years!
